This is the CODE-X Luxury-Hybrid Yacht, by Swiss yacht maker CODE-X. This yacht uses both electric and gas-combustion engines. The two gas engines produce about 1420 hp, allowing the yacht to move at a maximum speed of 90 knots. If you kick it over to solar hybrid mode, the two electric engines will move you at a steady 9 knots.

This is the Chicago Spire! Ground broke for this superstructure in 2007. Since then construction has come to a halt due to economic crisis. This project is still currently on hold and it is unknown when construction will start back up. If ever completed, this skyscraper will become the tallest building in the United States, reaching 2,000 feet (150 floors). The skyscraper will be residential, offering a Suite, Gallery and a one, two, three, four bedroom options. The Spire will also feature other amenities on the 5th, 6th and 7th floors. Such as, a 70ft lap pool on the 5th, golf simulator on the 6th, theatre on the 7th, and much, much more.

Lamborghini has rolled out another vehicle, a special edition Lamborghini Gallardo. It is distinct from other Gallardos, with its racing stripe and unique interior. It features at 5.2-liter engine producing 550 hp. There will be 250 of this edition made. The car is named after Lamborghini test driver of 40 years, Valentino Balboni.

Tim Burton is getting to release his next animated movie-master piece called 9. Not much is known about the actual storyline, other then it takes place in a world after ours. One that was consumed by the machines that turned against the humans and wiped them out of existence. But one scientist found a way to give life to rag dolls that could live on and find a way to reverse the mess that man had created.

The cast alone is enough to tempt most regular movie goers with names like Elijha Wood (Lord Of The Rings) as 9, the main protagonist, John C. Reilly (Step Brothers, Talladega Nightsas) as 5 and many more in this start stunning line.

Nine will be Burton’s second animated film with the company Focus Features; The first being the box office 3-D hit, Coraline. In April of 2009, the “Scientist” from the movie began making journal entries on a Facebook page called ‘9 Scientist. They seem to be journal entries and thought of his leading up to the release of the movie on September 9, 2009.  Pretty clever huh?

This movie looks awesome! Can’t wait to see in theatres Friday. Who wants to join me?

This is the 118 WallyPower, designed by Luca Bassani Antivari. There has been one made and it is priced around $24.83 million! Stretched out at 118-feet long, this superyacht is powered by three Vericor TF50 gas turbines making a total 5600 hp. Each one of those turbines drives a Rolls-Royce KaMeWa waterjet. With that said, it is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 60 knots.

The yacht can accommodate six guests and six crew. There is an owner’s stateroom with a king-sized bed, bathroom with double sinks, toilet, and a bathtub-shower. The room is also lightened by a skylight.

The two guest cabins feature a queen-sized bed, bathroom with a sink, toilet, and a shower.

There is a spacious stainless steel gallery equipped with a professional over+stove, refrigerators, and seating with a 15″ plasma.

Above, there is the deck, navigation cockpit, dining/seating area, and saloon. Inside, the atmosphere gives a feeling of a New York style loft.

Olympus released the a new PEN to its series this week, the EP-1 and it looks very impressive. The only draw back is, it does not have a built in viewfinder and flash nor come with a flash, you have to buy it as an accessory. The camera does comes as a kit including the camera, viewfinder and a 17mm f/2.8 lens.
